We are excited to announce our 18th Annual Latiné Health Equity Conference – Healthy Policies, Healthy Communities: Transformando nuestro futuro en salud latiné.

 

The 2027 Latiné Health Equity Conference will explore the impacts of policy on the health of Latiné communities and the need for advocacy and action in mitigating those impacts. Current federal, state and local policies are not neutral, rather they are choices our leaders are making about who will have access to healthcare, which services will be available to our community, where funds are allocated, how basic needs are being met, and the long term health impacts of these choices. Every policy has the opportunity to expand equity or deepen injustice. 

 

Through dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning, the conference seeks to inspire participants to a deeper understanding of policy and strategies to actively shape it by centering the experiences, strengths, and leadership of Latiné communities.
